The Luna Drawstring Backpack & The Carina Tote
Both styles are available in our classic Almond color, as well as our three new spring colors: Sage, Sand, and Lavender. Additionally, the Luna is available in Leopard Nylon and the Carina in a new black variation with Silver Hardware and Aqua Lining.

The main difference between these two styles is that the Luna serves as more of a small backpack than a tote. The Luna can be worn a few different ways. It can be worn as a backpack, a side bag with the backpack straps pulled long, or held from the top handles.
Luna Strap Options
The Carina, like the Aquila, can be worn three different ways. It can be worn over the shoulder as a tote, as a crossbody with the long strap, or over the shoulder with the long strap.
Carina Strap Options
The Luna includes two flat-trimmed pockets, two elastic bottle pockets, a small zippered pocket attached to the small laptop sleeve, and a laptop sleeve.
The Carina includes two flat leather trimmed pockets, one pen slot in between the flat pockets, one smaller zippered pocket attached to the laptop sleeve, a keyring, and one laptop sleeve with a magnetic snap closure at the top.
When it comes to the interior features, there are some notable differences between the two bags. The Carina's laptop sleeve has a tab with a magnetic snap closure, while the Luna's laptop sleeve is simply a sleeve with a large flap that secures everything inside. The Carina also includes a pen slot between its two flat leather-trimmed pockets, whereas the Luna does not have a designated pen slot. However, the Luna has two elastic bottle pockets on the inside of the bag, while the Carina does not have any elastic pockets.
The Carina zips at the top, like our other totes, whereas the Luna has a drawstring closure and a top flap that snaps closed over the top of the bag. The Luna does not include a zipper at the top.
Both the Carina and the Luna include a front, hidden zippered pocket as well as a luggage sleeve that converts into a pocket on the back of the bag.
The back of the Luna also includes a top handle to grab your bag, and the rings to attach the adjustable backpack strap.
Both the Luna and the Carina are suitable for smaller tablets and laptops.
The Luna's laptop sleeve fits devices up to 13" in screen size comfortably (larger devices may fit but may obstruct the closure), and with a 9" width max.
The Carina fits devices up to 14.5" in screen size or 12" tall without obstructing the zipper closure. Devices can comfortably fit in the sleeve and snap in place if no taller than 10" with a 10" width max.

Both the Luna and the Carina fit bottles in their side pockets up to 3.5" in diameter. However, to prevent obstruction of the interior space, we suggest using bottles no bigger than 3.25" in diameter.
