This Heather Purple Ara Crossbody Bag is true Lavender in color! It is perfect for spring and summer as my simple purse on the go! The statement strap that matches it gives it such an elevated look! It pairs so well with a white denim jacket! I love that it fits inside of my Gemini Mini Convertible Backpack with ease! Can't get enough of White Elm bags!

I have been looking for a white (not cream, not light-beige) clutch/cross-body for ages to step away from the vegan verieties I was buying on Amazon. I wanted something more elegant and generally better quality.

I was very excited to find this one (what took me so long?) and it is close to perfect from a design perspective. The size is right, and while the material is very stiff (shoulder strap included) it looks well made, stylish enough.

From a design perspective, I am missing an exterior zip pocket, and the only downfall here is the zipper with it's loose end. Trying to do it up with the tail poked into the bag is impossible, and with the tail it, it clashes with the straps and generally looks messy. The zipper is also pretty stiff, so I may need to try something on that. I loved the colored lining though, and will probably be back for another larger bag at some point.

Personally, I love any kind of bag that can be worn multiple ways. This deep, dark color of purple is my favorite color, and I love the gold harware accents. I would have preferred to have the pink lining with the gold hardware, but that option was only for the silver hardware. So, for the price, there should have been more options for hardware and lining combinations. Also, when this arrived, a piece of fabric was cut outside of the zipper lining (see picture with the white arrow). It's small enough to dismiss, and I didn't feel like going through the return process to get a new bag, but it kind of makes me hesitant to order again. I also have the interchangeable backpack/crossbody that is discontinued; I bought it 2 years ago, and it went maybe 6 months before the seams began unraveling from one of the straps -- it's still usable, but for the price, I kind of expected way better quality. For this new purple crossbody, I keep everything in reusable food pouches, because I learned from my first purchase 2 years ago that the lining may not be as tough as I expect, either. I don't want it to get ruined or discolored. So, I went into this purchase knowing this bag probably won't be with me for many years like my Vera Bradley and Michael Kors bags. That being said, although I love this bag and everything the owner represents, $80+ may have been a little steep of a price. If the prices matched the quality a little better, I actually would buy more as gifts for my girlfriends and relatives. I likely will not order again from White Elm for another year or two, but I still love the concept of their bags and the various color options with each season.

I love this bag! Perfect size, gorgeous color, smooth vegan leather with a beautiful pink silk lining. Perfect for holding everything I need for a dinner date or running errands, and it fits nicely in my Gemini Mini larger bag. I only wish this would be re-released in the metallic pink color that I missed last year… or come with rose gold hardware… a girl can dream, right?

This purse perfectly matches with my Gemini back pack, Now i can finally step out on my lunch break chic and in style. I love the color, the quality and the option to use a wrist strap.

White Elms Ara Crossbody is my favorite go to small bag! I love the gold accent on this black bag! The cream interior is very classy! Definitely a must have color for all occasions!

The Seafoam Ara is my second Ara Crossbody Clutch Handbag and it's my new go to makeup bag that I carry inside my Gemini and Gemini Mini bags! It holds all my feminine items that I need when I travel. It's also a perfect clutch/crossbody for quick errands or dinner out (holding only my essentials) without the need to take my large bags inside everywhere! I love the vegan leather feel and the colors White Elm has are so vibrant! I'm now starting to collect Ara's!!! Can't wait for another color!

I received this Ara Convertible Crossbody Clutch in Pink Metallic as a White Elm Reward that I earned by accumulating points as a member. It's my first Ara bag and I'm most delighted to use it as a clutch and as a bag within my bag to organize the small girly things that I carry with me everywhere! What a fun, shimmery, feminine color to add to my growing White Elm collection!!

I’ve had my Gemini mini for awhile now and I love it so much, but it is just a little too big for me to carry around in stores and small runs, so i thought I would look to see if there was a smaller option and i fell in love with the crossover bag it’s great and I’m excited to be able to carry my phone, wallet and and other necessities with me. I always rave about my Gemini ( my family and friends are probably done with me 😂 ) so I’m excited to tell people about the smaller, more convenient version ♥️

I am used to carrying a purse that is larger than this, but I love this bag! I bought it as a bundle with the matching Sage Green Gemini. I was in love with the idea that I could have a smaller bag packed within my larger bag. I am a teacher, so I carry a lot of things with me to and from school each day. Having the Ara & Gemini allow me to carry everything that I need for school, but also have a purse on hand for running errands right after school! I would always refuse to bring my old backpack into stores for fear of the assumptions they may be making about me for doing so. This totally solves that problem! Now I can take everything I need with me without having to sacrifice comfort or style! I also appreciate the option of it being a crossbody or a clutch/wristlet, can’t beat two-for-one!

My bag is great and goes great with my other two White Elm bags. It came with a weird dimple in the front that I can’t seem to get rid of. I don’t love that, but I really do love the bags I have gotten from White Elm!

This is perfect for date night or running errands! It’s small but roomy and is great quality. I love having the option of using as a wristlet or a crossbody. Love to use when running to lunch and not having to grab my whole tote! Enough room for all my essentials!

Easily fits inside my Gemini for work. Crossbody is nice for when I just need to run a couple of errands, and don’t need my Gemini. Great purchase!

My new spring / summer bag! Bought this in Dusty Rose along with the Gemini Mini Convertible backpack in Dusty Rose (for work). But for personal use, I’m a small purse gal all the way and the size is perfect, with plenty of room for everything I need on the fly. The color is to die for (!) and it feels expensive without looking like you’re trying. Will purchase in other colors.

Easily used in tandem with my other peices, totally in love with my collection!!!
