Care Instructions: How to Take Care of Your Bag
Cleaning Overview
How to take care of your bag and keep it in the best condition:
As soon as you receive your bag, we recommend keeping your dust bag in a place you can return the bag to if you are ever storing the bag away for a long period of time. This will keep it in the best condition and free from dust that can damage your bag. We also recommend using faux leather conditioner regularly for Vegan leather and Coated Canvas bags.
Your bag wants to be treated gently!
When cleaning, stay gentle while wiping away stains. If you come across tough stains like wine or coffee, bring your bag to a shoe repair store where they also work on bags. If you ever meet a sticky zipper, do not tug roughly at the zipper. Gently reverse the zipper and pull and try again.
We recommend you set the bag down on a table or other clean, flat surfaces when not in use. Do not hang from a hook. Hanging your bag from a hook, especially when loaded with heavy things, will damage the integrity of the handle and could cause it to crack.
Be cautious when it comes to where you set your bag down as well. The feet of the bag could get scratched up if the bag is repeatedly placed on hard, scratchy surfaces like concrete.
When cleaning your bag, never submerge your bag in water or leave your bag sitting in water. When using water on your bag, use a minimal amount. The interior lining of your bag can be flipped out for easy cleaning!
